Kitting options and ideas
I have given three options below to run this pattern as a project in your store. Pattern only, full kit (ie sell the complete pattern set with fabrics in one sale) and a monthly mailout. In the monthly mailout option there are two methods of cutting kits. One simply breaks up the full kit amounts so that by the end they have them all, the other includes instructions to cut exact amounts needed – this will take less fabric and therefore lower your fabric kit costs however will take more time to prepare. Choose the option which suits you and your customers’ best.
I have not included bonus pattern requirements in the kits however if you are sending out eights (the easy option) then they will only need extra background fabric.
Option 1:
Pattern only – monthly AUDRRP$11.00 inc GST
- full pattern pack AUD RRP$77.00 in GST
Option 2:
Pattern and full fabric kit:
$77.00 + kit cost
3 fat eights
65cm background fabric
25cm binding fabric
Note: kitting in this simple manner provides plenty of fabric to allow for bonus patterns, miscuts (particularly in foundation piecing), and possibly enough left over to piece a backing (which is mentioned in the instructions). It may be more than they need but simple to kit, not too expensive and gives them plenty of room to play and make additional projects to match at the end)
Optional extras: Presencia threads, Pellon, wadding, Embroidery hoop, Crewel needles #7/8, appliqué needles, Floriani Stitch n wash fusible, Roxanne’s Glue baste it, Sewline glue pen and refills.

Kitting notes: measurements given below are exact where cutting does not need to be accurate. If accuracy is important measurements have been rounded up by ¼” – ½” – not much so please cut your fabrics as accurately as you can or you may wish to be more generous.

Extra notes on fabric choice
This quilt would work in any small scale or tone on tone prints which read in three colourways. Choose a background fabric and then three colourways and make your store sample in the fabrics you sell. Remember, if you make a sample we will give you three complete sets of patterns for free with your next order. Just send in your photo to claim. Also let us know if you are running this as a BOM so that we can direct customer enquiries to your store.
