This Table runner is a companion pattern to the Twas The Night before
Christmas BOM quilt.  For your Festive Table, for all to admire when St Nic
comes to town.
Techniques include redwork stitchery, machine piecing
and machine quilting.

 Light background stitchery fabric – 12”/30cm
Two further light fabrics (white/red) - 6” x 30”/15cm x 75cm of each
Three  dark fabrics (red/white) - 6” x 16”/15cm x 40cm of each
(it is best to use small scale red and white prints, which read either light or dark once
put together)
Binding - one Fat Quarter
Fusible pellon (very lightweight fusible batting) – 12“/30cm
Batting and backing fabric- 150cm x 35cm/60” x 14“
4yd/3.5m red Ric Rac (1.5cm/5/8” wide)
DMC stranded cotton - 115 Variegated Garnet
6-8” embroidery hoop, #7/8 crewel needles, appliqué needle
Cream 100% cotton sewing thread
